Books For Cooks With A Little Murder Thrown In

I love to read, and can't resist a good murder mystery especially if it also involves food in some way. I'm a fan of the Dianne Mott Davidson series about Goldy, a caterer in Colorado. This week I'm reading a new series by Melinda Wells, whose main character is Della, a gal who runs a cooking school and who has a brand new cooking show! Unfortunately her first show results in murder live on tv. The back of the book has some of the recipes featured in the novel - yum!
If you like to read and cook, you might like her books too. Summer is the perfect time to grab a few paperbacks and take them on vacation with you.

Great Shopping Tip For Moms - Keep Your Pantry Stocked

In June I blogged about a great tip for any busy Mom - keeping your pantry full and a list of easy recipes close at hand. If you didn't get a chance to read that post, look in our June archive.
Since then, my friend and I have added a number of great recipes for you to try, as well as links and reviews of food products we have found in our local grocery stores that seemed good candidates for the "Easy Dinner Hall Of Fame". So far, everything we have tried has been successful. I know we are bound to hit some stinkers eventually, but you can feel confident that everything we have added to Our Go To Recipes so far will be something your family with enjoy and you will find fast and nutritious.
